Our Workshop and Facilities

McLeod Engineering is in close proximity to several slipways & travel lifts. Crane operator's are available to remove engines/ gearboxes etc for those vessels not needing to go on the hard stand. Our vehicles can transport the items to our well equipped workshop where our overhead gantry enables easy manoeuvrability.

Our local Marina's & Trawler Base makes on-site repairs convenient for the Operators of the varied Vessels in the local areas:

• Cairns – Trawler Base
• Cairns - Marlin Marina
• Yorkeys Knob - Half Moon Bay Marina
• Port Douglas – Marina Mirage

On Site Repairs

McLeod Engineering doesn't just carry out repairs in our very well equipped workshop, we also travel from Cooktown ,Townsville, Karumba, Weipa, Lockhart River, Thursday Island, etc.

We have dedicated mobile service vehicles and qualified diesel fitters to cater for any after hours emergency.

Bill McLeod has also been required to travel to PNG & New Zealand with clients wanting his personal service

Insurance Work

Insurance repairs are handled with utmost expedience: we send digital photos direct to the Insurance company via the internet along with the accompanying quote for repairs.
